About Isola Bella
Our restaurant – Isola Bella – is named after a tiny piece of land surrounded on three sides by the blue Mediterranean Sea and overlooking one of the most picturesque towns in Sicily: Taormina. This is where we come from: this is what we are.
We are a small family business: for us it’s just a life-long love affair with food. Fresh ingredients, simple and authentic recipes, old fashion slow cooking and uncompromising respect for tradition. And our wine list, of course, is carefully selected accordingly. At our restaurant you’ll be our guest, not our client: you will experience the real Sicilian cuisine as if you were invited to share our dining table back home.Isola Bella, Official Facebook page,
The food at Isola Bella was incredible! They truly know Italian food & wine. I enjoyed Barbera wine, a meatball appetizer, chicken marsala, & shared coffee gelato and a cannoli for dessert. Everything was divine!
Perfect in every way....owners greeted us, seated us, took our order. The lobster ravioli was amazing, wine from vineyards in Italy. Real Italian food, hospitality and love💕
We are there last night and we both loved the food we ordered. My wife had the lasagna and I had the meatball dish. Stephanie the waitress told my wife she may want a side of meatballs. They are stuffed with mozzarella cheese. I will definitely make it a destination each time I come to the island. Only suggestion would be to have Dean Martin music playing. It would add to the atmosphere.
Really good Italian food...we had a simple but really good salad and the specials and loved every bite. Nice wine list. Can't go wrong
This place is AMAZING!!! I have never been to Italy but felt like this is as close and as good as it gets! Best Lasagna I've ever had and luckily I got to try everything the rest of my family got, all of it just as delicious (chicken putanessca/Gorgonzola gnocchi/chicken parmigiana) All the pasta was fresh and incredible. Our sever Johnny was great and helped explain the menu throughly. The owners were so friendly and made you feel right at home. I can't wait to go back and eventually try everything on the menu!
The food was amazing! The ravioli and spaghetti and meatballs were probably one of the best meals we had all week on the island. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We did not have a reservation which is recommended, but they found a table for us anyway.
