OUR BEGINNING

 

The story began in Sicily at the foothills of Mount Etna, where the ever-active volcano lights up the night sky with its majestic beauty, sitting near the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. This is where Alessandra and Gianfranco, the original owners of Isola Bella came from. Shortly after arriving in the states, they discovered Anna Maria, a “beautiful island” to start an authentic eatery. The Salafia’s brought old family recipes with deep knowledge of Italian tradition. After years of working alongside Alessandra and Gianfranco, as a manager and a server, Vicki and Dan took over ownership in 2022. They preserved the Salafia family recipes, like Nonna’s meatballs, while introducing favorites from other regions.

 

OUR PHILOSOPHY

 

Isola Bella Italian Eatery aligns with the Trattoria’s and Ristorante’s of Italy. We serve handmade pasta and make our sauces from scratch. Our food is prepared by our chef whom selects only the finest ingredients. A traditional Italian meal starts with an antipasto and ends with a dolce (sweet) course, with several courses in between. Our portion sizes are curated so that our guests can enjoy more than one course.

Food was fantastic. Excellent wine. Service was outstanding. We ate outside. Beautiful. Very romantic. They had live music which was very nice. We were celebrating our 30th wedding Anniversary. It could not have been more perfect.

Always a great experience. Homemade pasta is incredible. The drinks, the appy’s and the dessert too! Our favorite on the island.
